Fading Impressions, 2024

This project uses an experimental technique called film souping to explore how memories distort over time. By soaking film in lemon juice and alcohol, the images are intentionally altered to mimic how memories fade, blur, and crack with age. The resulting textures and haziness reflect the imperfect nature of remembering—fragmented, emotional, and ever-changing. The work invites viewers to reflect on how their own memories shift, blur, and transform the past into something both familiar and strange.
